For this year’s eats, Confluence takes to the streets

The Confluence team is not an overly serious one: we prefer TED Talks to lectures and benders to cleanses; we would rather be borderline creepy than completely forgettable.

But there’s one thing we don’t joke around about, and that is food.

Case in point: last year, we enlisted the help of our friends at locally-owned Iguana Grill, Pie Junkie, and Elemental Coffee Roasters to make sure the event was a hyper-local, über-delicious success. (Brain food is serious business.) And it took us two months to vote on the best bar for our after party.

So you should be excited with, but not surprised by, this year’s plan:

Confluence is taking to the streets. Or rather, to the food trucks parked on the streets.

Every week time we’re feeling gastronomically adventurous, the Confluence team will make its way to a local food truck. We’ll try everything from beef tongue to green juice. And then we’ll ask you to vote on the trucks you want to see feeding the Confluence conference in 4 short months.
