A Step-by-step Guide to Enjoying Confluence from Your Couch

By Dierk Schaefer via FlickrWe are so very excited that Confluence will be live streamed across the wide world of the Internet this year. So excited, in fact, that we put together this handy step-by-step list that you can follow to enjoy Confluence from the comfort of your home.

Obviously, attending in person is preferable (in part because of how great a value the ticket perks are!), but we understand that not everyone is able to make it to OKC. And some others just prefer to not get dressed and leave the house on a Saturday.

For those people, here’s your handy guide to enjoying Confluence from home:

Step 1: Purchase a ticket to the Confluence 2014 live stream for $25.

Step 2: Wait until September 6. In the meantime, maybe you could check out some of OKC’s secrets or maybe jam out to some local OKC musicians.

Step 3: Get up the morning of September 6 and flip on your preferred Internet-capable device.

Step 4: Maybe get some snacks or some coffee from a local OKC shop. AKA: get comfortable. Also, grab a pen and some paper (you’ll see why in a minute).

Step 5: Navigate to the Confluence live stream.

Step 6: Watch the Confluence live stream.

Step 7: Hear some amazing speakers talk about digital creativity, blogging, branding, humor, social media, and more. Remember that pen and paper you got earlier? Well, you might want to start taking some notes now. Or you could use a computer. Either way.

Step 8: Take a break for lunch.

Step 9: Continue watching the live stream after lunch. We hope your brain isn’t too overloaded with great information.

Step 10: When the live stream is over, stop watching it.

Step 11: Find some Roughtail beer to enjoy because you know we will all be having a good time at the Plaza District after the conference!

Step 12: Now go apply what you learn. Become a better digital influencer!

There you have it: 12 easy steps to enjoying Confluence 2014 from the comfort of your own home. For the tl;dr folks, just click here to get started. You won’t regret it.
