Confluence grows up in its third year

Confluence is growing up.

The digital marketing conference that once hatched as a small, local conference to bring together Oklahoma’s growing tech community has become a regional draw for online marketers, agencies, journalists and other influencers alike.

On our third birthday – Sept 10 and 11, 2015 – we are throwing ourselves a big, fat digital marketing fête – and you are invited. For the first time, Confluence will be a two-day event, featuring national speakers that are on top of their field. Plus Oklahoma City is totally worth the trip (even National Geographic says so).

If you thought last year’s lineup was pretty awesome, this year we have more than 20 jam-packed sessions over two days with keynotes delivered by Mike King, Scott Klososky, and Ian Lurie. People who present at Confluence have also spoken at SMX, Mozcon, Domainfest, and Pubcon, but you can see them in Oklahoma City for about 10% of the price. But there’s nothing “cheap” about Confluence.

Confluence covers any and all facets of digital marketing. We aren’t just an SEO, PPC, and Content Marketing conference. We aren’t just a social media conference. We aren’t just a public relations conference. We are a digital marketing conference that covers every aspect and covers it with great content. We want people to go home, try out the action items they took away, and become better digital marketers for it. We want attendees to interact with each other, talk, and share their passion for digital marketing. That’s why we schedule ample time for social events too.

Look at what some of last year’s participants have to say.

“We could really connect to the speakers and also the people who were around us,” says Cayla Lewis, who attended Confluence in 2014 and is now the director of the Plaza District, which serves as host to Confluence.

“Great event, I had a great time! Already looking forward to next year.” – Avery Oden

“Work is great, but I think I’d still rather be at Confluence.” – Bailey Elise McBride

“Every single person I met at Confluence had a fascinating story.” – Yenni Vance

“This is the perfect opportunity for people new and not-so-new to digital media marketing,” adds Anna Farha, eCommuniy manager at Koch Communications in Oklahoma City.

Becoming a bigger conference doesn’t mean that we’re getting too big for our britches. This conference is put on by Oklahoma folks who truly love and appreciate all that Oklahoma has to offer.

Apart from hearing from some of the top digital marketers in the country, Confluence is an awesome chance to network with others in the field. And we don’t mean looking at the speakers from afar and hoping you may get to wave hi. No, it’s rubbing elbows with the speakers, exchanging ideas with some of the smartest marketing minds around, and having a beer afterward in one of the cool eateries and bars in Oklahoma City.

That’s right we’re past the toddler stages, our teeth are coming in and we’ve learned how to climb up the counter to get to the cookies. Confluence is ready for the big leagues. Get your tickets now. And tell all your friends.
