Backpacks, Races and Cases, Oh My!

You’re going to Confluence. You’re going to meet cool people. Yes, you will spend the day chatting with Oklahoma City’s creative class and learning more information than you know what do to with.

There’s a good chance you will leave with a little bit more.

Acquired knowledge, new connections and a great experience is all fine and good, but you can’t post a super sweet picture of knowledge on Instagram.  For those of you hoping to leave with something tangible, have no fear – we’ve got you covered.

Confluence Giveaways

It might be a little chilly on the 26th, so bring a jacket.  Charge your devices – you are going to want to take notes, write blog posts, tweet, check-in, tag, like and share via social channels.  After you pack up those necessities, you might want to make some extra room in the car.

You will leave with more than you brought.

It may only be an enlarged brain and a t-shirt, but if you’re lucky you might bring home everything from business cards to that soap from under the sink in the bathroom (to restock your stash, if you are that type of person.)

You’re going to need something to carry all of your goods, and that is why we’ve reached out to the wonderful folks at BWAP Backpacks.

BWAP donates two backpacks to a charity for every one they sell. Makes ya feel all warm and fuzzy knowing that you are helping people out by buying something cool, right? We will be giving away one of their backpacks during the conference so that one lucky attendee will be able to carry all of their goods out in style.

Style is important, but so is protecting your valuable items. Thanks to the good people at the Case Studio, we’ll be handing out some awesome Oklahoma-themed cellphone cases – so that you can maintain your social media accounts while maintaining your cool.

Last but not least, the kicker.

remmington-racing-suiteLet’s say you meet a lot of friends, but don’t want to bring them home to meet the family. How about taking your new buddies to the best seats at the racetrack?

Our sponsor Remington Park is going to make that happen.

It’s a great prize with $1000 value: a penthouse suite for 20 people, free food, soft drinks, valet parking, and free credit to bet on your favorite steed.

What you need – you know we got it. Bring (or wear) your lucky underwear and pick out the funniest sounding names to bet on. Your wit is going to win you a trip to the track.

These awesome prizes represent exactly what Confluence is all about: community, innovation, and connecting with likeminded peeps. And we’re doing it in style. See you on the 26th.

About Kyle Elrod

I was born back in October of 1985. I spent my childhood getting my lumps in the mean streets of Enid, Oklahoma. I survived those harsh adolescent years and made my way to the University of Oklahoma. I decided to study the ancient art of advertising at the Gaylord School of Mass Communication. I fumbled around for a short while before landing a gig in the digital marketing department with OPUBCO. This is where I spend my time and use my talents.
