A few days ago I contacted Eric Stoller as a potential speaker at Confluence conference 2013. Everybody was telling me he’s great on stage and when I found this video from his keynote at Curry College I knew he’d be a hilarious speaker as well as interesting.
Unfortunately he’s also incredibly busy.
When I spied Erin Cooper, one of our Confluence speakers from Cooper House tap Eric up for conference speaking tips I had to snag his responses for our blog (sorry Eric!).
So let’s recap those conference speaker tips:
- Welcome nerves
- Talk with your hands (love this!)
- You control the pacing
- Silence is okay
- Remember to breathe
- And remember to have fun!
It just makes me want him more (as a Confluence speaker of course). And he’s got a mean game face too.
What’s so good about Boston anyway Eric?
